Developers spend millions on planning consultants. We give community groups the same analytical power.

Designed by communities, for communities — tested by communities, supported with help from communities. Your subscription funds the AI inference and geospatial hosting that keeps this running for everyone in the network.

This isn't a prototype. The system is already producing objection letters at a quality ready for legal review, alongside full community governance structures — Andrew and Lesley are stress-testing it right now ahead of the first beta cohort.

Beta access

Three months free, then you choose a plan.

We're onboarding community groups 5 at a time, once Andrew and Lesley have finished stress-testing the system. If you're selected as a beta user, you get full access free for three months. After that, you'll move onto whichever Supporter plan suits your group — there's no surprise charge, we'll be in touch well before your trial ends.

How we're rolling this out

A small beta first. Then everyone on the list.

5 groups onboarded this month, 5 more next month, 10 more the month after — 20 hands-on testers in total — while we keep building the pieces beyond the core pipeline.

  1. NowYou are here

    Stress testing

Andrew and Lesley are stress-testing the live pipeline — site scan, mapping, objection letters, governance recommendations — ahead of the first cohort.

  2. Month 1

    First 5 beta groups onboarded

Full access, free, for three months. Hands-on support through every stage, including governance protocols for larger campaigns.

  3. Month 2

    +5 groups (10 total)

Second cohort onboarded. We start collecting screenshots, clips, and quotes from Lesley and Andrew for the showcase video.

  4. Month 3

+10 groups (20 total) — payment goes live

Final beta cohort onboarded. Stripe billing goes live for everyone converting off their beta trial or joining fresh on a Supporter plan.

  5. Beyond

Forum, video, and the wider rollout

The remaining waitlist converts on a rolling basis. The User Forum ships as an enhancement. The short showcase video — built with help from communities who've used the system — goes public.

Forum & governance — coming as a Roadmap enhancement

You won't buy a say here. You'll earn it by showing up.

This system exists to fight resource asymmetry, so when the Forum ships it won't reproduce that asymmetry in how it's governed. The plan: paying more will buy Circulation capacity and recognition — never extra votes.

Inside the system

What you're actually funding.

A walkthrough of each layer of the system, in the order you would encounter them running a real case. Layers marked Live are shipping today; layers marked Roadmap arrive with the next release.

Live

Setting up your case

Open a new case with the developer's name, the application reference, and the site postcode. From that single screen, the system begins pulling in the constraints, policies, and documents that apply — work that used to take a community group two weeks compressed into minutes.

Live

Site scan — 54 live data sources

The postcode alone unlocks a national picture — Green Belt status, flood zones, protected habitats, environmental deprivation, your MP, and your Local Planning Authority — pulled from fifty-four live government and public-interest sources. The same baseline a paid planning consultant would start from.

Live

Documents for your area

YourPlanningVoice identifies your Local Planning Authority automatically, and lists every policy document that applies to the case — Local Plan, SPDs, neighbourhood plans — alongside the regional and national policy above them. The right stack of documents, ready before you write a word.

Live

Mapping and the planning balance

Live map overlays of greenspace access, tree canopy, heat exposure, and national planning layers — laid against the statutory planning balance the case officer is legally required to weigh. What the officer sees, before the objection is written.

Live

Document Library — AI reading of planning docs

Drop a Design and Access Statement, a Transport Assessment, or a Decision Notice into the library. YourPlanningVoice reads it, pulls out the numbers that matter — dwelling counts, deadlines, planning conditions — and returns a structured summary with every fact traceable to its source page.

Live

Recommendations, not just documents

Beyond the letter — alternative proposals for the site, framed in regenerative design principles, and shaped by what the community has said actually matters about the place. A well-argued objection becomes a well-argued counter-proposal.

Live

Circulation — reaching your community

A built-in newsletter tool that sends briefings, calls to action, and case updates to your list. Neighbours, parish councillors, allied campaigns — everyone who needs to know, informed in a single send. Up to five thousand contacts depending on your plan.

Roadmap

Objection letters, ready for legal review

Coming in the next release. A full statutory objection letter with NPPF citations, case-law references, and local evidence woven in — passed through a four-validator forensic check before it reaches you. Legal-review quality, generated in minutes.

Roadmap

Governance protocols for bigger campaigns

A Roadmap enhancement. When a community group needs legal standing — a Community Benefit Society, a CIO, a Community Land Trust — the system recommends the right structure and generates the governance blueprint to back it.

Underneath every layer: a constitutional measurement system, not a generic AI writer. Every claim the system makes is checked against verified data and statutory rules before it reaches you. If a claim cannot be evidenced, it does not get made.

Special category — Year 1 only

Founder Year 1 — £100

An introductory founder tier for the first year of the platform. Pay once and unlock a full year of top-tier access: unlimited active cases, up to 5,000 contacts, unlimited newsletter sends, and 3 logins. Your name will be listed permanently on the YourPlanningVoice website as a founding supporter. At the end of Year 1 you'll be prompted to pick a Starter, Experienced, or Champion subscription to continue.

A separate, community-donation option remains available for supporters who want to give without taking product access — see the donation button in the footer.

Step 1 — choose a Supporter plan

Every paid account starts here. There's no ongoing free tier — see the 3-month beta trial above if you're joining as an early tester.

Every paid plan includes the full pipeline available today — site scan, AI document extraction, statutory objection letters, governance recommendations, community forum, and the reference library. New features on the roadmap may be subject to additional funding at the time they launch; we'll flag any such feature clearly and give existing subscribers priority access.

Founder Member (Beta only)

  • Circulation raised to 5,000 contacts
  • 3 logins
  • Permanent name in the credits
  • Founding-member badge across the product
  • Direct input on the governance roadmap

Test mode is live — real card charges are processed by Stripe. Add-ons require an active Supporter plan; you can pair the two in either order.

Partners

Support the network as an organisation

We keep any partner presence on the platform relevant and to a minimum — this isn't an ad platform. If your organisation wants to support the network at scale, partner placements start from £500/year. Get in touch and we'll talk through what fits.

Gift Aid (coming later)

UK taxpayers — your £5 could become £6.25 to the platform.

Once we've secured CIO charity status or a registered fiscal host, eligible UK contributions can be uplifted by 25p via Gift Aid — at zero additional cost to you. The exact eligibility depends on what each subscription tier provides in return, which we'll confirm clearly before claiming anything.

We'll prompt for the Gift Aid declaration at checkout once this is ready. Until then, we're recording donor intent only.

If every group on the waitlist gave £5 a month, the whole network would be self-sustaining.

We rely entirely on community groups like yours to keep this technology independent of the developer interests it exists to challenge.

Founding Supporters

The community who made this possible

YourPlanningVoice exists because these people put money in early — before we had users, before we had a product — because they believed community groups deserved the same planning-intelligence tools that developers already have.
